0007 – Code on a plane

Now finally through the busiest part of the year at work and with the promise of free time in the next few week I'm jumping all the way back in to programming. To get the juices flowing I decided to use a 4 hr flight to work on the Learn to Code 2 exercises in the recently released Swift Playgrounds for iPad.

I had used the iOS 10 beta version of Swift Playgrounds and really liked it, but there wasn't more to do in it after completing the first series of exercises called Learn to Code 1. Now that the app is released and iOS 10 is out, Apple has added this more intermediate learning lesson as well as a few other challenges to the library of Swift Playgrounds.

So, here I am 30,000 ft in the air making this little cartoon guy collectGem and toggleSwitch all over the place. When I'm back home next week I'm jumping back into the full lessons I purchased and have worked through before.
